Thursday, Oct. 31: 3 p.m. Halloween Show & Costume Party (with residents and pets) at Salishan in Brooksville, FL, featuring Marcos Trujillo & the Sue Sue Sisters.
The Sue Sue Sisters will do a special performance of wild & fun Halloween classics: "Monster Mash," "Addams Family Theme," "Purple People Eater," "Little Red Riding Hood," "the Pink Panther," "They're Coming to Take Me Away," and other seasonal favorites. Residents are invited to wear costumes, sing along, and dance, as the spirit moves them. We are so excited to share our Halloween musical tricks and treats for you. Please come and join the fun!

Show features the Sue Sue Sisters and the World Nation Children's Choir. Location: United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 4244 Mariner Blvd,, Spring Hill, FL. Proceeds go to fight neuroblastoma cancer in kids (in support of Beat Nb!) and scholarships for graduating seniors who want to be teachers (through the Caryl Haring Memorial Scholarship Fund). Tuesday-Friday, July 7-10: Haring & Valdeos participate in the Apple iTunes U project in Orlando, as part of a team of teachers creating iBooks for core subject areas, which students and teachers (grades 6-12) will be able to use free of charge.
Monday, July 6: Cynthia Haring & Katia Valdeos are featured guests on NPR's Morning Edition with anchor Michael Lyon at KIOS radio, 91.5 FM in Omaha, Nebraska.
Thursday, June 11: As part of a fundraiser for Gulfside Hospice, Cynthia Haring & Tampa Bay World Nation perform their doo wop, pop and swing songs at noon at the Gulf View Square Mall in Port Richey, Florida. The public is invited to attend.
When World Nation performed at Regency Residence, they celebrated several birthdays including one for activities director Dorothy Courser, wearing party beads and birthday tiara, on right. Tuesday, May 26: At 2 p.m. Cynthia Haring & Katia Valdeos bring their Music Tribute to the Greatest Generation show to Ridgecrest Village in Davenport. Among the doo wop, pop and swing songs performed are "Blue Moon," "Pretty Little Angel," "Jeepers Creepers," "Venus in Blue Jeans," "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby, "I Don't Know Why (I Just Do)," "Lollipop," "Mister Sandman," "Oh You Beautiful Doll," and originals including "Cruisin' in My Wagon." The public is welcome. At 6 p.m. Cynthia Haring presents the 2015 Caryl Haring Memorial Scholarship awards at the Davenport School Board meeting.
Monday, May 25: This is one of two Quad City performances where proceeds are donated to the Caryl Haring Memorial Scholarship fund at the Davenport Schools Foundation. Haring & Valdeos present doo wop, pop and swing songs at 2 p.m. at the Grand Haven Retirement Community in Eldridge, Iowa. This Music Tribute to the Greatest Generation is preceded by an American Legion program. The public is welcome.
Sunday, May 24: Gathering of family and friends to honor Earl William Haring in Preston, Iowa with a 10 a.m. service at the Methodist Church followed by Committal of Ashes at the cemetery and noon lunch at Some Budde's Cafe in downtown Preston.

Tampa Bay World Nation singers dedicated their April 11 concert at Regency Residence to Earl William Haring, 87, their most senior group member who recently passed away. The boys wore bow ties in honor of Earl, who wore bow ties when he sang "I Don't Know Why (I Just Do)" with the group.

Monday, May 23: 4 p.m. Cynthia & Katia flew to the Midwest from Florida to attend the Davenport Schools Foundation (DSF) reception to honor this year's DSF scholarship winners and their families. Scholarship awards, totaling $20,700, have been given out to 33 Caryl Haring scholars from 2013-2022. This year's Caryl Haring scholarship awards went to: Riley Erwin, Brynn Hetzler, Jordan Snarr & Madison Wardlow. These annual awards go to graduating seniors who want to be teachers so they can make a difference in the lives of children, just as Caryl did during her 40 years of teaching.
